Getting excited about this time of year!!! We can’t wait until it’s time to do this again:
We ventured out in the bitter cold on Sunday to enjoy the morning at Smith’s Maple Farm for
Maple Weekend, so glad we did but now I want to own my own maple syrup farm.
It was was so yummy and the perfect outing for my brood of sugar lovers and I’m getting much better
at photographing in gloves, something I never had to do living in the deep south, enjoy the slew of photos.
The great thing about creating the card in chalk is you can take a hose to it and start over. This was drawing number three and five boxes of chalk later…

Winter is definitely a new and exciting thing for my kids who didn’t grow up with snow, sledding is by far
their favorite outdoor activity followed up with a warm cup of cocoa.
Now if I could just bring myself to start liking snow, this winter will be perfect!
With family, one does not stand and watch the sunset alone.
This pretty much sums up what it’s like in to be the only boy in our family of all girls. While his sisters were off playing on the beach I found him alone on the swings, they weren’t much higher than 2 and a half feet off the ground so I had to lay low and put the camera down in the sand to get this shot, but it was so worth it.
